Slimming World Classes in Poole Dorset

SLIMMING AT SALTERNS HOTEL Valerie Ingham became a Slimming World Consultant holding weekly classes for members at the Canford Cliffs Village Hall in September 2004, after losing 3½ stones in weight herself during the previous 6 months.

Extremely nervous but absolutely convinced by her own experience of the Slimming World ‘eating plan’, Valerie started off with her New Group of Members (just 7 in total) on Monday evening September 20th that’s nearly 8 years ago.

It’s fair to say that since that time she’s never looked back and exceeded all expectations. Over the intervening 390 weeks, Valerie has looked after countless Members and helped them to lose 29,077 lbs (2077 stones). Regrettably, parking restrictions in the area on Monday evenings have meant that Valerie has been on the lookout for another venue for some time.

What a relief! The Canford Cliffs Members have now moved just a short distance down the road to the Salterns Hotel at the Salterns Marina in Lilliput and are meeting there regularly as from Monday 16th April. Meetings are held every Monday throughout the year in the Brownsea Suite and Members can look forward to:
· Easy parking,
· A very comfortable environment,
· A view out to the Blue Lagoon and Poole harbour
· A very caring and successful Slimming Consultant

Valerie says:
“I want to make sure that you enjoy yourself when you join my Slimming Group” ‘It’s so important that you understand we’re not talking about a restrictive diet or putting yourself through sweaty exercises at the gym. You’ll be learning simple, healthy eating plans where no foods are barred and getting involved in regular, satisfying activity in your own time, designed especially to suit you.

“Here’s a secret I want to share with you”:-

As you almost magically slim down, lose weight and feel better about yourself, I want you to adopt our new lifestyle on a permanent basis. This is the way to make sure that the new slimmer, healthier you is forever….… not only will you be losing weight: you’ll be keeping it off!

Celebrant in Poole: Weddings, Renewal of Vows, Baby Naming.

Salterns Hotel is happy to offer semi-religious or non-religious ceremonies for Weddings, Renewal of Vows, and Baby Naming, in association with Diana Saxby, leading Independent Celebrant:

Achingly Romantic Weddings
A bespoke service, designed to your own individual needs and wishes. The ceremonies may be as dignified and serious as a church wedding, and include spiritual or scriptural readings or have the religious element replaced by words and music which have real meaning to each couple. Together with you, Diana will design a bespoke, elegant and achingly romantic ceremony which will reflect your own personality, expressing your commitment in a public declaration of your love for each other.

Renewal of Vows
As couples reach a milestone wedding anniversary they often look to renewing their wedding vows. Your original vows or new, personalised vows can be used or you can be encouraged to write your own poignant words or have them composed for you. By sharing precious moments and thoughts, these can be woven into your ceremony in a public declaration of your ongoing love and commitment to each other.

Baby Naming
Naming ceremonies welcome a child into a family and confirm his or her identity. They are officially embraced within their family, whether they are newborns, adopted children or step children. Perhaps you are a single parent and wish to affirm your commitment to your child/children with a simple, meaningful ceremony. These ceremonies can be held indoors or outdoors at Salterns Hotel. Diana's ceremonies allow a number of choices for you to include in your ceremony and she has an extensive collection of readings, poems, prayers and blessings for you to choose from, or you may include your own personally written or selected pieces which are meaningful to you.
